With a banking career spanning 37 years, Mariangela has been privileged to have met and supported many notable individuals & companies establish their businesses here in Brisbane & around Australia. Her banking expertise together with speaking & writing Italian has enabled her to build solid business relationships with Italian companies & individuals interested in collaborating with Australian & New Zealand organisations to create opportunities for economic growth & development.

Mariangela is about empowering women on how to be financially independent, create their own identity in the community whilst still continuing to be proud of their ethnic background. Over the last few years Mariangela, together with a few noted females within the business community, created educational seminars for women to assist them to reach their financial goals in particular around purchasing a property and businesses, or establishing your own business & understanding the process that comes with this. The seminars also touch on how to get back on your feet financially. Through a number of online workshops & seminars Mariangela was able to connect with women from outside of Australia of Italian heritage providing information on how to do business in Australia. These seminars were designed and presented in the Italian language. The popularity of these informative seminars lead Mariangela to create the Italian Business Women’s network, a network that has clocked up over 10,000 members from around the world, it is a network that connects business women of Italian heritage to business women of the same profession.
Mariangela has been able to assist numerous females in business with achieving their personal & business goals, something they as migrant women never thought possible.
Mariangela over the years, has put together a team of experts that she refers to from accountants to lawyers to immigration agents, all expert in their own fields and all first and second generation children of migrants.
Mariangela has been recognised with numerous awards over the last few years from the Italian government for the work she has done within the Italian community both locally & abroad.
The highlight for Mariangela, for the years of volunteering in the Italian community came in June 2022, when Mariangela was bestowed the title of Commendatrice Dell’ Ordine della Stella D’Italia by the President of the Republic of Italy. An award that has only ever been bestowed on two women in Australia.
Mariangela has also over a number of years sat on a numerous non for profit boards, both at local, state and interstate level, representing the Italian community. Mariangela was a finalist for the Women in Finance Awards 2017 – category for Women’s Community Program of the Year & Women In Finance Awards 2018 – category for Association professional of the Year.
Mariangela loves what she does, she finds no better joy than assisting people with their financial goals, whether new arrivals or whether people that have been referred to her by her extensive network.
