An award-winning Australian project director and entrepreneur, Connie is celebrated for her innovative ideas and successful delivery of complex projects across diverse industries, including infrastructure, ICT, transport, mining, renewable energy, and oil and gas, both domestically and internationally.
With a background in accounting and computer science, Connie is a Certified Practising Project Director and holds an MBA from the Queensland University of Technology. She serves as the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Australia Philippines’ President and an Ambassador of the Brisbane Lord Mayor's Multicultural Business Round Table.
Connie is also a member of an industry consultation group established by the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, assisting in the development and implementation of the Indo-Pacific Economic Framework. Through these roles, Connie influences trade policies and collaborates with leaders of governments and captains of industries.
As a consultant for Queensland University of Technology, Connie has delivered significant training programs for the Philippine government (funded under the Australia Awards program by the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade). These nation building training programs included: Transport Management & Planning; Public Sector Project Management; and Contract Management (for the Public-Private Partnership Center of the Philippines). She has also served as an expert panellist on Gender Equality and Social Inclusion for the Australia Awards South Asia and Mongolia's Building Cyber Resilience Course.
Connie is actively involved in the start-up and innovation ecosystems of Australia, the Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia, India, and Mongolia. She mentors business leaders and founders, investing in start-ups with innovative solutions that improve daily life.
