Amanda has founded two companies, sold two, been an investor in an online retailing business and a catering company, and Chairs the advisory board of a family car rental business with her husband Peter Clark, founder of Crazy Clarks. Her strategy knowledge is based on working with small business owners in Brisbane for the last twenty years and experiencing what works to assist small businesses to grow.
She is the co-founder of Growth Education Institute (groei), Australia’s first virtual multi-level mentoring program, designed to help regional small businesses grow sustainably. Amanda is also a Chairman with leading peer mentoring business The Executive Connection (TEC) and is in the top five percent of Chairs nationally, winning eight awards for Chair excellence, and was the first female Chair in Australia.
Amanda is the recipient of the Centenary Medal for business and winner of the Telstra Young Business Women Award (Qld) in 2000.
