Born and raised in Newcastle, Reece has built his career around a genuine passion for supporting small businesses and the people behind them. In 2024, he relocated to Brisbane and has enjoyed becoming part of the local community and building connections across the city’s business network.

Reece has spent the past six years with Commonwealth Bank, working across a broad range of roles within Small Business Banking. This experience has given him a strong understanding of the opportunities and challenges business owners face at different stages of their journey, from establishing and growing a business through to managing change, navigating challenges and planning for the future.

He holds a degree in Business and Commerce, majoring in Accounting and Leadership. This combination has provided him with a strong foundation in financial management, commercial decision making and leadership, while reinforcing the importance of understanding both the numbers and the people behind a business.

Reece is particularly passionate about helping small business owners navigate the different stages of the business lifecycle. He enjoys understanding what drives a business, identifying opportunities for growth, and helping owners build the confidence and capability to make informed decisions.

Outside of work, Reece is a passionate footy fan and proud Newcastle Knights tragic, as well as a self-confessed foodie who enjoys exploring Brisbane’s ever-growing dining scene.
