How far away is the new premises from the BBH’s current site?

The new premises on Level 4 of 260 Queen Street is just 250 metres away from the BBH’s current site in Queen Street Mall – a short three-minute walk.

How do I access the new BBH premises?

Entry to the new premises is via the elevators on ground level of 260 Queen Street, accessible via Post Office Square. The BBH is located on Level 4.

How do I access the drop-in hot desks at the new premises?

The BBH drop-in hot desks are on Level 4 of 260 Queen Street. You will need to check in at the BBH reception desk where desks are available for use on a casual basis and are located and clearly signed next to the kitchen facilities on Level 4.

Will there be any changes to the BBH’s current services to Brisbane businesses?

The Brisbane Business Hub will continue to support the local Brisbane business community with its full range of complimentary events, workshops, networking and mentoring opportunities, and drop-in hot desks, from 17 June 2024 on Level 4 of 260 Queen Street.

Fee-based membership co-working facilities are not available at the new premises. However, we encourage everyone to make use of the drop-in hot desks, online resources, and complimentary workshops, events and one-on-one mentoring, which will continue to be delivered at the new premises.

Will the BBH be offering membership at its new premises?

Fee-based membership co-working facilities are not available at the new premises. However, the Brisbane Business Hub will continue to offer drop-in hot desks, and a full range of complimentary events, workshops, networking and mentoring opportunities.

What will happen to existing members of the BBH?

While paid membership is no longer offered, we encourage previous members to make use of the drop-in hot desks, online resources, and complimentary workshops, events and one-on-one mentoring that continue to be delivered at the new premises.

Will there be meeting rooms and breakout spaces available for use?

The BBH premises on Level 4 at 260 Queen Street is dedicated to drop-in hot desks. There is also communal kitchen facilities, lounge and balcony spaces for Brisbane Business Hub visitors to enjoy beyond the designated coworking spaces.

There is a dedicated event space, also on Level 4, available to the Brisbane Business Hub for workshops and events.

What amenities will be available for use at the new venue?

There are communal kitchen facilities, lounge and balcony spaces for Brisbane Business Hub visitors to enjoy beyond the designated drop-in hot desks. The communal kitchen includes a fridge, microwave, cutlery and crockery, and complimentary tea, coffee and milk will be available.

Will I be able to hot-desk at the venue?

Yes, there are drop-in hot desks available for visitors to use. Please make sure to book your coworking desk using our booking system which can be located here.

How will I know if the coworking spaces are at capacity?

The new premises allows for 30 hot desks to be pre booked and tracks capacity in real time. We will continue to accommodate all visitors to the Brisbane Business Hub to the best of our ability.

Can I pre-book a desk?

There are 30 hot desks available to book 7 days in advance. Please make sure to book your coworking desk using our booking system which can be located here.

Upon arrival, check in within 10 minutes of your booking start time to avoid cancellation and the release of your desk to others.

Can I pre-book a meeting room?

Meeting rooms are bookable for a duration with a maximum of 60-minute bookings.

If you wish to enter a meeting room you must have a booking, which can be made here, and it is to be used for meetings, either in person, virtual or phone, only.

Will the new premises impact the number of people who can access the BBH?

The layout of the Brisbane Business Hub will change to best utilise the facilities available at Workspace 365 on Level 4 of 260 Queen Street. There are communal kitchen facilities, lounge and balcony spaces, and meeting pods for Brisbane Business Hub visitors to enjoy beyond the designated coworking spaces.

The new premises allows for 30 drop-in hot desks.

A separate event space, also located on Level 4, will be available for Brisbane Business Hub workshops and events.

Who can I talk to if I have concerns about the relocation of the BBH?

What will happen to the Visitor Information Centre?

The development of 167 Queen Street by owners ISPT will not impact the Visitor Information Centre, which will remain at its current location.
